About Christine
Vaughan
Christine Vaughan was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She is a helping professional, writer
and poet. She has two Masters degree in Organizational Management and
Leadership in Human Services and Mental Health Counseling from Springfield
College, Boston Campus. Her career life has predominantly been in the Human
Service non-profit sector as a case manager, advocate, coordinator, and
counselor. She recently transitioned into the Mental Health field as a
psychotherapist providing individual, family and group therapy. Christine is the founder of the
Humanistic Clinical and Educational Consulting Associates (H.C.E.C.) which
is a consulting agency that provides holistic
solution focused clinical and educational services.
Christine enjoys being involved in the
community whether supporting events by donations, attending, presenting or
volunteering.
She is the author of
two books of poetry, “He Raised the World From My Shoulders ~ Poetry in
Motion” and “Epiphany ~ Third Eye Poetry”. Christine is the co-founder of the Nubian
Writers Group of Boston founded in February, 2007 with her partners Haji
Shear and Joel Mackall. Ms. Vaughan believes “the art of expressing life is
a skill we gain from the school of life and relationships, and living for every moment
brings about clarity of one's purpose.”
